For smaller groups, the floor still applies, so the effective per-person cost increases as the headcount drops. Six adults, for example, still carry the $550 minimum. How do I confirm my booking date?

Start by reaching out through the contact form or by calling or texting (919) 888-9886. You will go over your event details, choose a date, pick a time slot, and select your package. Available booking times are 1PM, 2PM, 3PM, 4PM, 5PM, 7PM, 8PM, and 9PM. Your booking is not confirmed until HibaChef receives the required payment or deposit. A conversation or an inquiry does not hold your date. Once payment is processed, your event is secured. Plan to book at least one to two weeks out, and further in advance for weekends, holidays, or larger groups.

Can guests choose different entrees at the same event?

Guests can make different entree selections within the same package tier. On the Hibachi Regular at $55 per person, each guest chooses two entrees from the available options: Chicken, Jumbo Shrimp, Prime NY Strip, Scallops, Salmon, and Tofu. Different guests at the same event can pick different options from that same list. The Hibachi Special at $65 per person is a fixed combination of Chicken, Shrimp, and NY Strip, so there is no individual selection involved there. HibaChef operates rain or shine. Heat, rain, and summer storms do not qualify for a refund or cancellation on HibaChef's end. In practice, that means you are responsible for having a safe, suitable outdoor cooking area available regardless of the weather. If there is any chance of rain, having a covered space ready for the cooking setup is the smart move. A tent, patio awning, or covered porch all work. The grill and cooking station remain outside throughout the event. Your guests can sit indoors while the chef cooks outside, but the cooking itself stays outdoors.

The Hibachi Kids package is $30 per child and applies to ages 5 through 12. Kids on this package select one entree from the available options rather than two. Your guest dining area needs to be fully ready before the chef gets there. That covers tables, chairs, plates, utensils, glassware, and anything your guests will need throughout the meal. On the cooking side, you need a flat, level outdoor area with enough room for the chef and equipment, good ventilation, and clear access throughout the cooking session. Getting this done in advance keeps everything on schedule and avoids delays at the start of your event. If you are hosting at a space you are not familiar with, such as a vacation rental or a rented venue, do a walkthrough ahead of time to confirm the cooking area meets the setup requirements.
