Booking happens entirely on our Book Now page. Select your date and time slot, enter your contact details, choose your hibachi package, add any side orders, and select table or chair rental if you need it. A booking preview lets you review everything before you confirm.

Yes. Buffet-style events require a minimum of 30 guests, and this option includes the meal only, not the hibachi show.

HibaChef offers Hibachi Regular at $55 per person with a choice of two entrees, Hibachi Special at $65 per person with chicken, shrimp, and NY strip included, and Hibachi Kids at $30 per person for ages 5 to 12. Is it possible to combine packages for one booking?

Yes. Packages can be combined within the same event, for example, some guests on Hibachi Regular and others on Hibachi Special, so the whole group's preferences are covered.

Is the live show part of the buffet-style package?

No. Buffet-style service includes the meal only. The hibachi show is part of the Regular, Special, and Kids packages.

How much notice do you need before an event?

We recommend booking at least 10 days ahead of your event to help secure your preferred date.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

All payments to HibaChef are non-refundable, since your booking reserves a chef, food, and event resources exclusively for your date. Cancellation requests should be submitted as early as possible. Requests made within X hours of your event may be subject to a $X fee. Full terms are available in our Refund Policy.

Will there be any extra charges beyond the package price?

Package pricing does not include sales tax or gratuity, and a travel fee may apply for locations more than X miles from your assigned chef.

Is the menu flexible for special requests?

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-friendly requests can be accommodated. Just let us know when booking so the chef can plan accordingly.

What should I have ready before the chef arrives?

Accepted Answer

You provide tables, chairs, and tableware for your guests, along with a flat, safe space for the grill, either outdoors or in a well-ventilated indoor area. HibaChef brings the grill, ingredients, and everything needed to cook.

Can my event date be changed after booking?

Accepted Answer

Rescheduling is possible, but it is not confirmed until approved by HibaChef in writing, and is subject to chef availability. Requests made within 48 hours of your event may include an additional fee. Full terms are available in our Refund Policy.
